Two local dance schools are taking up the exciting opportunity through Tameside Cultural Services to get involved in a prestigious workshop with English National Ballet (ENB).
Students from Kirsten’s Dance Academy in Mossley and The Sarah England School of Dance in Stalybridge recently took part in the session which involved exploring the ballet Giselle.
The workshop is part of the ‘Dialogues with Giselle’ community learning and engagement programme to celebrate the main ENB production of Giselle, which will premiere in Manchester on 27 September.
The project forms part of the the Manchester International Festival. For further information please visit: ttp://www.mif.co.uk/event/giselle
Tameside Council Cultural Services Education Manager Tracy Webster said: “This is an amazing opportunity for young dancers in Tameside to work with ENB professional dance and music artists and I hope they enjoy and are inspired by the workshop.”
