If you are a Tameside business, local apprentice or a young person setting up a Trade business there are now employment and Skills Grants that are now open for applications, these are the Trade Grant and the Enterprise Grant.
The Enterprise Grant is available for Tameside businesses, and can offer a work placement/traineeship/apprenticeship to a young local person, you may be eligible to apply for a grant of up to £1,500.
Local trades apprentices and young trade entrepreneurs can apply for the Trade Grant. If you are an apprentice in a trade industry, or are aged 16- 24 and are setting up a trades business within Tameside, you may be eligible to apply for a grant of up to £1,000.
