Lurcher Jenas looking for forever home.

More than 12,000 people have snubbed taking on the lovable Jenas as a pet dog.

When he was taken in as a stray by the charity on April 27 last year, he didn’t know how to play and toys were no interest to him.

Now 12 months later, the three-year-old Lurcher couldn’t be any more different.

Despite this, for some unknown reason Jenas keeps missing out on his forever home and has been overlooked by more than 12,000 dog-loving visitors.

As he faces seeing the first anniversary of his arrival come and go, the staff at the Denton Rehoming Centre are hoping it won’t be too long before that special someone decides he’s the four-legged friend they are looking for.

Jenas needs owners who are happy to take their time building a bond with him. He will suit a quiet adult only home with few comings and goings so he can build his confidence. He could live with another dog who he will need to meet a few times at the centre, and he will need a large, secure garden.

If you’re able to give Jenas a home, please call 0300 303 0292 or visit the centre on Parkway, Denton, Manchester, M34 3SG.
