A lottery ticket sold in Tameside which would make someone a millionaire has not been cashed in.
The Lotto Millionaire Raffle game ticket was sold in Tameside on October 10, players automatically receive a raffle code printed on the ticket, the winning code for this prize was LIME 4363 5202 and the ticket-holder has until 7 April 2016 to claim their fortune.
Lotto are looking for the winner and asking everyone who bought tickets for the draw in the area to double-check their raffle code. If no-one claims the money it will go to National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
To help memories about the date of the draw the 10 October saw the final games in England’s World Cup pool. Australia beat Wales 15-6 to top the group and England enjoyed an emphatic 60-3 win over Uruguay.
