Droylsden and Mossley share points in Christmas Derby

Droylsden and Mossley shared the points in a 1-1 draw in the Christmas derby at The Butchers Arms.
The match was marred when the referee Alan Clayton collided with Droylsden winger Billy Hasler Cregg halfway through the second half 
 
The Bloods started well with Hasler Cregg forcing an early save from the Mossley keeper Liam Flynn. They then went ahead after twenty five minutes when a Hasler Cregg cross was put in the net by James Hampson.
 
The Lillywhites attacked from the off as the second half and had a goal disallowed but they finally equalised through Abadaki when Droylsden failed to clear and a ball. 
 
The last 10 minutes saw both sides squander chances to win the game chances to win the game and Droylsden thought they had equalised deep into injury bur were denied by the offside flag.
Both teams had to be content with a draw. The result leaves Droylsden in 15th position on 24 points and Mossley in 10th position on 31 points in the Evo-stik Division One North.
