Sixty two year old grandmother Dorothy from Droylsden was part of a team that walked away with £60,000 on TV gameshow The Chase.
Although filmed last year the episode was only screened on Wednesday evening on ITV1.

Dorothy and her team took on the chaser Paul Sinha and walked away with £60,000. The team were one of the few groups to take on the gameshow mastermind, who goes by his nicknames the Smiling Assassin and Sarcasm in a Suit, and win.

Dorothy believes her secret to success was absorbing information by doing crosswords throughout her life and always keeping her brain active.
