Droylsden FC host the annual Tony Downes Memorial Trophy

Saturday August 1st sees the staging of the annual Tony Downes Memorial Trophy At Droylsden FC 's Butchers Arms ground in memory of the young soldier who lost his life in Afghanistan.
Droylsden born Neil Tony Downes, known to his friends as Tony, died in June 2007 whilst fighting in Afghanistan. He was just 20 years old, Tony's family will be attending the fixture. 
 
Cray Wanderers will be the visitors and Kick off will be at 2pm on Saturday August 2nd at the Butchers's Arms.
