Auden House Care home in Audenshaw has built a new garden for it's residents. It has been particularly aimed at those sufffering from dementia and includes raised beds for growing vegetables, a greenhouse and an area for sensory plants.
The care home owner John Evans said the residents found it very fulfilling and will be able to view their garden from the conservatory or walk around the grounds looking at the progress of the plants.
The garden is just one of the many initaives at the Tameside care home to improve the quality of life for the residents.
