"The Stalybridge Handmade Market returns this Saturday the 14th June to the Civic hall with another fine selection of locally produced craft and food stalls.
The Civic Hall will be crammed to the rafters with a massive 65 handmade craft & local produce stalls and a strawberry theme will be evident! There'll be music throughout the day from The Dollar Bombers and violinist Rachel Swanick, refreshments, kids activities and free balloons.
The market opens at 10am until 3pm and admission is just 50p (free for under 12's) which includes the chance to win a fantastic handmade hamper made up of items from every stall and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to this years nominated charity Reuben's Retreat.
Katherine Brookes of MWL Events, the organisers of the handmade markets, is always on the hunt for new talent in the area in order to provide variety for returning customers and also to sustain the success of the markets. MWL Event's ongoing success has been recognised recently as finalists in the Start Up Business of the Year category in the Pride of Tameside Awards and also they are 1 of 4 finalists from over 200 applicants in the North West in the prestigious E3 Awards which takes place in September."
