Josh Lee who is studying Creative Media Production at Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form College has recently had the honour of receiving a Future Leaders Award from the Hyde Bangladeshi Welfare Association for his work in the local community.
Josh was nominated for the Community Award by Astley Sports College, his former school, after helping them with fundraising for various charities and helping them build up their online awareness by creating promotional YouTube videos. Josh said: “I was thrilled to be nominated by Astley, I had a great experience there and it’s nice to be recognised for the
work that I’ve done.”
After finishing his GCSE’s at Astley Sport College Josh decided to study Level 2 Creative Media Production at Hyde Clarendon Sixth Form College wanting to grow his talents into a potential career path.
During this time Josh started volunteering at Tameside Radio, He said: “The experience I’ve gained at Tameside Radio is brilliant. I’d like to continue to volunteer and eventually pursue a career in radio; I hope that one day I can host my own primetime show and reach a wider audience on a station like Capital FM.”
