The 2015 "Pride of Tameside" Business awards will be held at the Village Hotel, Ashton-Under-Lyne 3rd July 2015.
Louise Marshall Chair of the awards ceremony said:
"We hope that once again local businesses, regardless of what they do, and whatever their size or turnover, will come forward in their droves to apply. We had a record number of applicants last year, and we’d love even more this year.
I’m delighted to say that Tameside business remains as vibrant and innovative as ever and these awards are about celebrating the strength and diversity of our local economy. Never has it been more important for us to highlight local business success stories and allow us to showcase what our borough has to offer."
Lasts years winner Jan Lord (pictured above) of Guide Bridge MOT & Service Centre in Ashton-Under-Lyne and Lead Judge for the Business of the Year Awards gave her thoughts on the awards:
" Why would you want to put in for a Pride of Tameside Business award I hear you say! I would suspect a large number of Small Business owners are asking themselves the same question at this time of the year. We all know we do a good job and we’re very successful but do the local people of Tameside know about you? The Pride of Tameside Business Awards is an excellent way of putting your business into the spotlight and getting that recognition we all deserve.
Last year I was very much in the ‘shall I apply or not’ camp and so pleased we made the choice we did and submitted an application as we only went and flipping won ‘Business of the Year’! So I would say that if we can do it so can you! It’s so easy to apply this year, all done online with a wonderful new website and there’s plenty of help, mentoring and support out there to help guide you through the process".
