Tameside Vintage Magazine award ceremony in aid of Alzheimer's Society

CVH 1st CLASS Awards 2015

The Prestigious Talent and Personality Contest took place Sunday 12-04-15

at Oaklands Hall in Hyde. In aid of The Alzheimer’s Society.

All around Tameside Singers and Musicians entered

for the title. The winner of Ms Talent was Kate Stelfox from Droylesden who sang

Halleluiah. The Mayor Cllr Dawson Lane said It was a brilliant event and he

especially Thanked The CVH 1st CLASS Group for a magnificent event they had

organised. The rest of the Winners were Mr Talent Robert Mott from Dukinfield.

Ms Personality Muriel Adshead from Hyde. Mr Personality Derek Fisher from

Ashton and The best performing Artist was Adelade Adams from Offerton.

Helen Cannell from the Alzheimer’s Society Thanked the Performers and highlighted

Alzheimer’s is wide spread now and there is strong support there.

Christina Howard The Founder of CVH 1st CLASS Group said she was very proud of

Her ladies and All the entrants were good, She paid special tribute to Billy Porter the

Star Entertainer who had all the women screaming with his magnificent performance.

Surprise Special Guest and One of the Judges was International Star Shelia Goth

who sold a quarter of a million albums to her name as a Country Western Singer.

Shelia was the voice of TV Danger Mouse and the former vocal Coach of Robbie Williams

and Gary Barlow. In all it was a good night and £400 was raised for The Alzheimer’s Society.
