There was plenty to brighten spirits at the ever popular Tulip Sunday event at Stamford Park last weekend.
Despite the rain showers, children of all ages enjoyed the free teepee decorating and tribal face painting activities, while there was also a climbing wall, music, sports activities, stalls, street theatre, Ranger Rob and his animals.
Tameside Council Greenspace Development Manager Nicola Marshall said: “Tulip Sunday is a great joint effort between the community, Council services and our partners. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather to come along and get involved – it was lovely to see so many visitors.
“We have lots of more events and activities for all ages planned over the coming months, take a look at our summer events programme to find out more.”
