IT'S green for go when it comes to keeping Tameside's grass in good shape. Cutting-edge battery-powered equipment is not only cheaper than its petrol-driven equivalent, it's quieter, safer and cleaner too.

"When we invest in equipment these days we have to factor in matters such as health and safety and carbon reduction. That's why batteries are becoming the power source of choice."
