I visited the very popular Heroes of Waterloo restaurant for the 3 course Sunday Lunch menu. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, there was a good atmosphere and the staff were pleasant and attentive.
I had the pork which was superb and brilliantly presented, my partner had chicken which was also delicious and well presented. The quality of the food and the establishment was fantastic really nicely surprised. I didn't know what to expect have not eaten here before, but would most definitely return, the sweets followed the mains, home made Ice cream and chocolate twist tube biscuits.A big thank you to the Chef, who cooked us some wonderful food and the presentation was perfect.
Plenty of on and off road parking. Nice relaxing beer garden at rear. pre-book recommended but not essential. The restaurant is on 3 Mossley Road, Ashton-under-Lyne OL6 9DQ.
